Bard Music West Plays
GAMES AND REVOLUTIONS
March 28-31, 2019

featuring composers Danny Clay and Gabriella Smith

In Games and Revolutions, we showcased two incredibly creative young composers with Bay Area ties, Danny Clay and Gabriella Smith. Both composers presented their works at four concerts around the Bay Area. Audiences discovered some of their many inspirations, including coral reefs, children's games, and Haydn.

Clay and Smith’s music playfully explores new perspectives on music-making and invites the audience to join in (sometimes literally!).

Games and Revolutions was the first program of Bard Music West Plays - a brand new series of performances from Bard Music West exploring the music and influences of emerging composers.

Stay tuned for an announcement soon about future Bard West Plays events!
