Tim Padgett, percussion

Tim Padgett is currently earning a master’s degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, studying with Jacob Nissly. Prior to moving to California, Tim earned the distinguished Performer’s Certificate and John Beck Scholarship from the Eastman School of Music, under the tutelage of Michael Burritt.  Tim’s orchestral career has included experience in some of the nation’s best training orchestras, including the National Repertory Orchestra and Texas Festival Orchestra. Enjoying both solo and chamber music projects, Tim has won the Empire State Competition, and participated in many ensembles around the nation, including performances with the Eastman Percussion Ensemble and Chosen Vale Percussion Institute. In his free time, Tim likes to play tennis, lift weights, and explore new neighborhoods.  He is a devout fan of FC Barcelona and when not practicing, he can be found reading a good book and enjoying great food.
